In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus told His disciples they were to be the "salt of the earth" and the "light of the world." Did you ever notice that the analogy of "light" describes two ways it works? It's compared to a city set on a hill (which can't be hidden). But it's also likened to a lamp in a room, giving light to "all who are in the house." Just what does that mean?
